Joyliverpool
I received an email today from white hat gaming. I have several accounts with them, most of which I opened through Will's affiliate links in order to A, enter a Giveaway and B, to have a little play on the slots. On every account I have with whg I have a self imposed deposit limit of £20 per month - a limit I can afford to lose (I wouldn't play if I couldn't afford it) I received an email today from 21casino's support team informing me that I have gambling issues, that they have "self" excluded me from the white hat brand for 5 years and that because I am such a lowsy addict, I should self exclude from every gambling account I have and get in touch with gamblock and Co. I was just wondering has this happened to anyone else?
Chloe
The screenshot won't load for me, sorry, but you're definitely not the only person this has happened to - White Hat have always been one of the strictest groups with regards to Source of Wealth and affordability, but they're also one of the most established groups in the UK and a great option when you can play unhindered. I'm surprised it's happened since you have such low limits, but there has been talk lately of new gambling regulations enforcing pre-emptive affordability checks or account closures, so it's disappointing that this might be taking place before the regulations are announced, especially in the way you've described with your limits already in place. These restrictions are designed to help people, but it doesn't sound like you had any issues with your gambling on these accounts. Sorry that happened - 5 years is quite extreme! Joyliverpool
Thanks for your reply, Chloe. White hat have definitely gone down in my estimation after this incident. I thought I was the definition of a safe gambler but them branding me as out of control and having "issues" doesn't sit well with me, especially as they have never asked me a single question regarding source of wealth etc. I'll attach the screenshot just in case you wish to see it. Good riddance to them!
