Mystic Potion is a 6×6 symbol combination slot with multipliers of up to 500x. The bet levels are customizable with a minimum bet level of £/€0.60, and a maximum bet level of £/€180.

On any spin, any combinations of 5 or more symbols touching horizontally or vertically will result in a winning combination. Winning symbols explode after they’re paid out, allowing the symbols above them to cascade downwards, potentially creating more winning combinations. 

Big Symbol Feature 

If there are 4 matching symbols adjacent to each other in a square shape, a Big Symbol is formed. This comes with a multiplier that can range from x2 to x500. 

The Big Symbol Feature does not allow Wild or Scatter Symbols to contribute towards the formation of a Big Symbol. At every new round after the symbols have cascaded downwards, multipliers are collected from any Big Symbol that was involved in a win in the previous round. At the end of every spin, the total win of that spin is multiplied by the total multiplier collected. 

Free Spins Bonus Round

3 Scatter symbols appearing anywhere will trigger the Free Spins feature, granting 15 Free Spins. Each additional scatter symbol will award 2 more free spins. Multipliers collected during Free Spins are collected and will remain for the duration of the round. 

At the end of each Free Spin, the total win of that spin is multiplied by the total multiplier.

First Impression

Mystic Potion looks and feels quite enchanting, but is the hazardous journey to make the fabled potion worth the risk? 

We think PG Soft are quite underrated. The build quality of their slots is to be admired, and the simple yet effective features make it viable for aficionados of regular and irregular slots. Mystic Potion keeps things ticking over quite nicely with the Big Symbol Feature and its accompanying multipliers, but we’ll admit that we’d have liked to see more in the way of Base Game Features. 

In Free Spins, the multiplier becomes persistent, which allows for even greater rewards. It’s once again quite simple, but sometimes tried and true features are the way to go. 

If you’re looking for something magical and reliable, then Mystic Potion isn’t a bad option. With 10,000x win potential, it doesn’t quite deliver on its promise of ‘endless wealth’, but perhaps it may grant endless entertainment for the alchemists among us.
