Aisley: What inspired BGaming to develop a slot inspired by Alice in Wonderland? 

Yana: It was an idea that had been developing over the course of two years.

We're all pretty passionate about the original Alice in Wonderland stories, whether it's the books, cartoons, or films, and we just wanted to give this classic story a bit of a thrilling, gaming twist.

The whole team was engaged. Everyone had their own take on what Alice should look like, how to portray the Rabbit, and what features to include. In the end, everyone’s input shaped the game, making it feel like a truly collaborative project, with a bit of our personality in every corner.

Aisley: What are the standout features of Alice WonderLuck?

Yana: One of the standout features of Alice WonderLuck is our signature mechanic SpinUpTM. It’s an upgraded spin we first introduced in our previous Aztec Clusters game. It gives players a guaranteed or significantly higher chance to trigger a special feature.

In Alice WonderLuck, it works together with the Mystery symbols, where each SpinUp spin brings in Mystery symbols, adding more unpredictability and fun to the game.

Right now, Alice WonderLuck has around 650 mentions online, reaching an audience of about 277,000 people. This includes 30 videos on YouTube and TikTok showcasing big wins in the game.

What’s really cool is that Alice WonderLuck isn’t just a game. It’s a whole magical world that pulls players in. We believe this unique feel will help the game grow and succeed even more.

Aisley: Alice WonderLuck has a pretty generous RTP by today’s standards at 97%, but without sacrificing the 10,000x win potential that seems kind of ‘standardised’ throughout the industry. Why was it important to you to not follow the downward RTP trend?

Yana: We know the industry has been moving towards lower RTPs, but for us at BGaming, keeping Alice WonderLuck at 97% just felt right. It’s all about balance by giving players more value while keeping the game fun and rewarding in the long run.
