Hideous Slots Community Awards

It's awards season in the iGaming industry as we wrap up another fantastic year filled with innovation, creativity and excitement.

These awards often come from panels of judges and organisations looking to honour those in the industry that they believe lead the charge, but often players get involved too.

Each year, like many other online affiliate websites, we ask our Hideous Slots community to share their thoughts on the previous year with us.

This helps the many studios working in this industry to get some feedback and thoughts from players as well as their esteemed colleagues.

Previous Results

2024 marks the third year of opening a vote up to our community, and this year we introduced some brand new categories to get even more feedback.

In 2022 – our first year of asking our community to vote – Big Bamboo from Push Gaming took the Slot of the Year crown.

Last year, Print Studios had a stellar year, taking both Slot of the Year for Holy Hand Grenade and Studio of the Year, a new category introduced.

2024 Award Categories

After such interest from our community in previous years, this year we asked even more questions, giving our community the chance to vote in the following categories:

• Slot of the Year 2024
• Studio of the Year 2024
• Slot Sequel of the Year 2024
• Most Innovative Studio 2024

These categories help us gather more opinions than before, and helps us to get a better understanding of our community.

2024 Results

Now, after four weeks of voting, our community members – combined with the Fruity Slots community members – have had their say and crowned the following winners:

• Slot of the Year 2024 – Ancient Tumble from Relax Gaming with 14% of votes.
• Studio of the Year 2024 – Pragmatic Play with 16% of votes.
• Slot Sequel of the Year 2024 – San Quentin 2 from Nolimit City with 19% of votes.
• Most Innovative Studio 2024 – Hacksaw Gaming with 17% of votes.

Special mention must also go to the studios that came close in our studio categories, or with releases in the slot categories, including 4ThePlayer, Print Studios, ELK Studios and Bullshark Games.
