Time to get ready to tuck into a food truck feast, courtesy of Hacksaw Gaming. I'm not sure where you're from, but there are a multitude of countries across the globe where food trucks – or street food – are considered to be some of the best cuisine options around. Where I'm from, food trucks weren't traditionally regarded as ‘nice' food, and are usually the places you go after a few drinks when nowhere else is open to eat from.
From the look of what Hacksaw Gaming are going for here, they seem to be thinking along my experience, as we leave behind the murky depths of Beast Below and say hello to Fred and his run down workplace, in Fred's Food Truck.

Everything is quite simple in Fred's Food Truck – and this includes aesthetics as well as mechanics. Fred's truck is visible behind the reels, parked alongside red brick buildings and covered in little stickers which are actually characters or symbols from previous Hacksaw Gaming releases.
A red and white awning hangs over the top of the reels, on which chicken, pizza, burgers, hotdogs, tacos, fries, popcorn and chillies sit. Fred himself stands in an apron and a chef's hat with a spatula to the right of the reels, whilst an upbeat track comes in to tie it all together and paint a fun picture.
Fred's Food Truck Base Features
Taking place across 5 reels, wins are formed on Fred's Food Truck by matching at least 3 symbols on adjacent reels, beginning with the leftmost reel, across 1 of 15 fixed win lines. Symbols available begin with non premiums, with 10s, Js, Qs, Ks and As, awarding wins between 0.10 and 5x bet for matches between 3 and 5 of a kind.
At the premium end we have a variety of food, with chicken, hotdogs, tacos, pizza and burgers, awarding wins between 0.50 and 2x bet for 3 of a kind matches, increasing to values between 10 and 20x bet for 5 of a kind wins.
Finally, Wild French fries are available to substitute for all symbols except FS Scatter symbols and chillies, awarding wins of 40x bet for 5 of a kind matches.
There's really only one feature to cover in Fred's Food Truck but before we get onto that let's cover cascades. On every spin, all symbols involved in a win will be removed from the reels.
All remaining symbols will then drop down to the bottommost available position on their respective reels, with new symbols dropping in from above to fill the remaining gaps. Cascades continue until no new wins are formed.
Global Multiplier
Now onto the feature – the Global Multiplier. It is possible to land green chilli symbols on the reels, which land as 1, 2 or 3 chillies on a silver plate.
When green chillies land together alongside a winning combination, they reveal a value which is added to the Global Multiplier to the left of the reels.
All subsequent wins in the spin will have the Global Multiplier value applied to them. Green chillies can reveal the following values:

First Impression
Things are kept simple in Fred's Food Truck, which is somewhat of a trademark of Hacksaw Gaming. There are no overtly complex releases in their catalogue, and this one is no different, slotting in well with many other releases based around multipliers – including the recent Cursed Seas, Frank's Farm and Pug Life.
Green chillies help to keep things ticking over in the base game, but its during Free Spins that things really kick up a level, with a progressive Global Multiplier not resetting between spins and green chillies being added every time they land in view.
With possible values up to 100x being added, it's easy to see how quickly wins can clock up. When the right combinations land, wins are possible up to 10,000x bet.
Finally, maths is rated as medium (3/5) volatility, and RTP options are available up to 96.33% (96.45% feature buy), so as always it's worth checking this.
