Wild Symbol Collection

Alright, the first thing to cover in Candy Paradise is the Wild Symbol Collection.

Each time a Wild symbol lands on the reels, it is collected in the meter to the left of the reels. When the meter has been filled +1 Wild Swirls are added to the Wild Counter and the meter resets back to 0.

Up to 9 Wild Swirls can be collected in the base game.

Wild Respin Feature

Randomly, when 1 or more Wild symbols land in view and are collected, the Wild Respin feature may be triggered.

During this feature, the number of Wild Swirls in the Wild Counter are distributed onto the reels in random positions.

Wild Swirls may overlap and become Multiplier Wilds. Overlapping will increase the multiplier of the Wild Swirl by +1 for each new Wild that lands on top.

If more than one Multiplier Wild is used in the same winning combination their values are multiplied together and then applied to the win.

The maximum multiplier of any Wild Swirl is x5.

There are no Bonus symbols or Free Spins symbols on the reels during the Wild Respin feature.

Each segment on the Bonus Wheel offers a different prize.

During Free Spins the number of Wild Swirls accumulated at the point of trigger will be randomly distributed onto the reels at the start of every spin.

First Impression

There isn’t a great deal to say about Candy Paradise – a simple game with a simple theme.

All things considered, it may have been better suited to a low or medium volatility maths model, but as always it’s worth the reminder that there’s no centralised database for volatility, so this ‘high’ could be another studios ‘medium’. I digress.

In the base game, the Wild Counter producing Wild Swirls and triggering the Wild Respin feature carry almost all of the weight, aided by the Bonus Wheel to trigger cash prizes, additional Wilds or Free Spins. The good news is that no matter how many times respins are triggered the Wild Counter does not reset, only doing so at the end of Free Spins – although even then up to 5 additional Wild Swirls are awarded.

Free Spins are distinctly more exciting than the base game, with any active Wild Swirls added to the reels at the start of every spin. With the ability to produce multipliers up to x5 through this feature and multiple multipliers multiplying together, it’s quite easy to see how Candy Paradise can produce wins up to 5,000x bet – not to mention the actual maximum win prize on the Bonus Wheel in Free Spins and the base game.

Finally, maths is highly volatile and RTP options are available up to 96.02%, so as always it’s worth checking this. If you’re looking for a simple release with a nice maximum win, Candy Paradise could suit you. If you prefer something more complex or advanced, you might need to shop around a bit more.
